If you want to experience the castle on your own you can buy your admission ticket and walk around in the castle in your own pace.
At the 1st floor you’ll find information about the history of the castle and also see a model of the castle when it was a fortress, before it became a palace. Beside the exhibition of the history of the castle lies the old kitchen where you can see a preserved slush chute by one of the windows. Take the time to see one of our gun turrets that you’ll reach from the exhibition of the castle!
At the top lies the furnished floor, with inventory from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. From here you can also reach the church and the Great Hall of State.

Senior citizen/Student: 85 SEK (be prepared to show valid certificate)
Children/Youth (8 – 17 years old): 75 SEK
Children (0 – 7 years old): Free
Admission without guided guided tours means that you experience the castle on your own and in your own pace, along with information and an orientationguide of the castle.
